What this tool does
Auto Drawing Creator creates a drawing next to every model in your assembly in one go. You pick your own template (the drawing format .idw or .dwg follows the template), which views you want, and the scale. Sheet metal automatically gets a flat-pattern view. Existing drawings are never overwritten — those are skipped.
How to use it
- Open an assembly and start Auto Drawing Creator. The list shows all parts and subassemblies; models that already have a drawing show "exists (skipped)".
- Under Template, pick your drawing template or browse with Browse… to your own .idw or .dwg.
- Check the views you want: Top view, Side view, Iso view, and Flat pattern. The front view is always included.
- Under Scale, choose Auto or a fixed scale, and click Create drawings. When it's done, you'll see how many drawings were created, skipped, or failed.

Working with Vault? Click Get from Vault first, so that models that already have a drawing there aren't redrawn locally.
