What this tool does

Batch Publish is Thundercad's most powerful export tool. From a top-level assembly you generate, in a single run, all production documents, PDF, DWG, DXF and STEP, for the parts and drawings you select.

The resulting file structure and naming are fully configurable: a separate folder per type, a separate subfolder per run, and optionally a suffix, revision or date in the file name.

How to use it
  1. Open the top-level assembly you want to publish.
  2. Click Batch Publish. The dialog opens with a tree of all documents found.
  3. Check documents on/off. Use the filters (all drawings, modified only, by folder, by iProperty).
  4. Select the desired output formats: PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP.
  5. Click Publish. The progress bar shows what happens for each file.
  6. When finished, you can jump straight to the output with Export Folder.
