Export DWG (AutoCAD)

Export the active drawing directly to AutoCAD DWG.

What this tool does
The Autocad DWG button exports the active drawing straight to AutoCAD-compatible DWG. The translator settings are the same ones Inventor itself uses, Thundercad only adds the batch naming convention and folder structure.
How to use it
  1. Open the drawing you want to export.
  2. Click Autocad DWG.
  3. The DWG lands in your export folder, using your chosen naming convention.

Settings

Inherits all settings from Batch Publish

Export DWG uses the same target folder, subfolder structure and file-name composition as Batch Publish.

Target folder & naming
Folder per type, suffix, revision, date. See the Publish settings tab.
