Version 1.0 · Last updated: 2 June 2026

Please note. These terms have been prepared with care. Always have legal changes reviewed by a lawyer before you publish them.

Thundercad is a product of Cadkunde B.V. These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the use of the Thundercad software, the website thundercad.nl and all associated services (together the "Services"). By downloading, installing, starting a trial period or taking out a subscription to Thundercad, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

1.1Thundercad is provided by Cadkunde B.V. ("Cadkunde", "we", "us").
1.2Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 93394934. VAT (BTW) number: NL866378571B01.
1.3Questions and support for Thundercad go through info@thundercad.net.

2. What Thundercad is

2.1Thundercad is an add-in (toolbox) for Autodesk Inventor that automates repetitive tasks, such as exporting documents, generating bills of materials, managing metadata and cleaning up models.
2.2Thundercad works with Autodesk Inventor version 2025 or higher and requires an active Autodesk account.
2.3Thundercad is a standalone product, but is developed and provided by Cadkunde. Where these Terms refer to "we", this means Cadkunde B.V.

3. Trial period

3.1You can try Thundercad free of charge for 30 days. You start the trial period in the add-in within Autodesk Inventor, and it is linked to your Autodesk account/device.
3.2No payment details are required for the trial period. When it ends, access stops automatically, unless you purchase a license.
3.3In principle, one trial period is available per Autodesk account/device.

4. Subscription, license and prices

4.1Access to Thundercad after the trial period requires a paid subscription per user (a "license").
4.2You can choose between monthly billing (per user per month) and annual billing (per user per year). The current prices are published on thundercad.nl and are exclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise.
4.3A license is non-exclusive and non-transferable and applies to the agreed number of users.
4.4You may not copy, modify, decompile, rent, resell or reverse-engineer the software, except to the extent that mandatory law permits this.
4.5All intellectual property rights in Thundercad and the associated documentation remain with Cadkunde or its licensors.

5. Automatic renewal and cancellation

5.1The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (month or year) for an equal period, until you cancel.
5.2We will send you a timely reminder before each renewal, in accordance with applicable legislation.
5.3You can cancel the subscription at any time before the next renewal via your account or via info@thundercad.net. After cancellation you retain access until the end of the period already paid for.
5.4Amounts already paid for a current period are not refunded, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

6. Payment

6.1Payments are handled by our payment provider Mollie. We do not ourselves receive or store any full payment details; these are processed by Mollie.
6.2For automatic renewal, you authorize us (via Mollie) to collect the amount due at the start of each new period.
6.3In the event of a failed or reversed payment, we may suspend access to Thundercad until payment has been made.
6.4In the event of late payment, statutory interest and reasonable collection costs may be charged.

7. Availability, updates and maintenance

7.1We make every effort to deliver Thundercad carefully and as uninterrupted as possible, but we do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted availability.
7.2New features and updates that fall within the subscription are made available at no additional charge.
7.3We may carry out maintenance that temporarily affects availability, and we will announce this in advance where possible.

8. User responsibilities

8.1You are responsible for a suitable working environment (a supported version of Inventor, an active Autodesk account and appropriate system requirements).
8.2You are responsible for making backups of your own files and data.
8.3You shall not use Thundercad in a way that causes damage, disrupts its operation or infringes the rights of third parties.

9. Warranty and liability

9.1Thundercad is provided "as is", without warranty of being error-free or fit for a specific purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
9.2We are not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, loss of profit, data loss or business interruption.
9.3Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Service in the twelve months preceding the event that caused the damage.
9.4The limitations in this article do not apply to damage caused by intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of Cadkunde.

10. Confidentiality and data protection

10.1We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR. See Thundercad's Privacy policy for details.
10.2Both parties shall treat confidential information they receive in the context of the agreement as confidential.

11. Suspension and termination

11.1We may suspend or terminate access to Thundercad in the event of non-payment, misuse or breach of these Terms.
11.2Provisions concerning intellectual property, liability and confidentiality remain in force after termination.

12. Changes

12.1We may amend these Terms. The amended version is published on thundercad.nl and applies from the date of publication. In the event of significant changes, we will inform active subscribers.

13. Governing law and disputes

13.1These Terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
13.2Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the district where Cadkunde is established, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
