What this tool does
Update BOM imports the standard Bill of Material style into your current assembly, so that columns, formatting and order are the same everywhere. The tool takes the style from an XML file you exported from Inventor's Styles & Standards Editor.
How to use it
- Export your desired BOM style from Inventor → Styles & Standards Editor to an XML file.
- Open the Thundercad settings, go to Update BOM and point to the XML file via Browse….
- Open an assembly and click Update BOM. The parts list is rebuilt according to the XML.
