What this tool does

Quick save saves all open documents and closes them in one click. The list of open files is stored as a "session" so you can later open exactly the same set with Quick load.

Ideal for the end of the workday, before an Inventor restart, or when you want to switch to another project temporarily.

How to use it
  1. Work in your documents as usual.
  2. Click Quick save. All documents are saved and closed, and the list of open files is stored.
  3. When you want to return: click Quick load to reopen everything in the same state.

Settings

No separate settings
Quick save has no separate settings tab.
Tips
💡
Quick save always stores in slot 1. Additional slots for multiple sessions are on the roadmap.
💡
Opening or closing documents in the meantime does not change your saved session, only a new Quick save rewrites the list.
