What this tool does

Batch Close closes all or a selection of the open documents at once. Handy when switching between projects or cleaning up your workspace without clicking the close button file by file.

Available in every document type and in the zero-doc screen (no active document).

How to use it
  1. In the Thundercad tab, click Batch Close. The panel opens on the right.
  2. Choose which files to close: all drawings, all parts, all assemblies, everything except the active one, or a manual selection.
  3. Confirm with Close. Unsaved changes are handled according to your Inventor settings.

Settings

No separate settings
Batch Close uses no settings tab of its own, it follows the file-type filters in the panel.
Tips

Combine with Quick save if you want to resume exactly the same session later.
💡
Close your drawings first via "drawings only" so you stay in your 3D work.
