What this tool does
An article that doesn't need to exist as a 3D part, think glue, paint, cable, gas or a sticker, you add to the BOM with Place article. Thundercad adds a Virtual Component to the assembly with the right iProperties from your article list.
How to use it
- Open the assembly.
- Click Place article.
- Select the article from the list (managed in Article Manager).
- Confirm, Thundercad adds it as a Virtual Component with all iProperties filled in.

You manage the article catalog in Article Manager.

List of available articles, with part number, description, unit and custom iProperties.
