Article Manager

Manage the catalog of articles that go onto the BOM as virtual components.

What this tool does

The Article Manager is your central list of articles you can add to an assembly via Place article. For each article you manage part number, description, unit, supplier and custom iProperties.

Available in Assembly and on the zero-doc screen, so you can always edit the catalog.

How to use it
  1. Click Article Manager.
  2. Add, edit or delete articles.
  3. Configure per article which iProperties are filled in by default on placement.

Tips
💡
Give articles a consistent naming scheme (e.g. ART-00001) so they are recognisable everywhere.

The catalog can be on a network share so the whole team uses the same list.
